About
Andrew Barden

Andrew
Barden launched Philanthropic Entrepreneur in early 2005 at the
behest of several of his business associates in Southern California. Andrew
had been helping small business with business plan research and writing for
several years, and he found himself regularly giving
personal development and business advise to
his clients and growing network of friends.
As he realized that most often the difference between success and failure in
starting a new business had to do with the leadership teams' own level of
personal development, he began sharing the best
personal & professional development media
as well as recommending certain
B2B vendors, and, of
course, regularly
passing on referrals.
It became obvious that a
central hub web
site would be the best means to service the current and new people that were
being referred to him and his business associates. In addition to
offer coaching services and business plan research and writing, we provide links to
plenty of vendors providing cost-effective solutions to many of the common needs of
today's small business owners.
This site is targeted to help
YOU, the philanthropic entrepreneur. What does that mean?
Philanthropists
typically are business people who have achieved
such great wealth that they proceed to give back to their community, helping
people in ways that they couldn't do themselves. They have a mission to
serve others through charitable giving of their time and money. They
do so out of the goodness of their hearts. They always want to help a
good cause. In a nutshell, they're softies.
Entrepreneurs
are those who see a need,
usually before others see it, and take on the necessary risks to capitalize
on their knowledge of how to fill that need. They are cutting
edge thinkers with cutting edge marketing tools.
In a nutshell, they're sharp.
So,
a
Philanthropic Entrepreneur embodies the paradox of being a sharp
softy, one who realizes that the greatest joy
comes in the giving of one's own abundance of time and resources. We
have open minds and large hearts. We think big and have the courage to
pursue our dreams. We apply the Law of Attraction, recently made
popular by the DVD and book, The SecretThe Secret (Extended Edition) .

"We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us
with each other; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions
run as causes, and they come back to us as effects."
-Herman Melville

If you study the most wealthy people on the planet, you'll soon see that the
ones who are truly happy are regularly giving of themselves.
Anthony Robbins
, Mark
Victor Hansen, Rob Allen, T. Harv Eker, and Jack Canfield all embody this
type of "enlightened entrepreneur." They don't stay in the market place to make more
money--they have enough to happily retire. They keep getting involved
with people to help them transform the marketplace. They've
discovered the universal principles of receiving a joyful heart from
unconditionally "loving" other people. Bob Proctor heads up
a publishing company called Gabriel Media Group, Inc., whose tag line is
"Global Prosperity Through a Philanthropic Economy." What all of
these entrepreneurs have realized is that when we stop thinking only
of our own prosperity and shift to wanting prosperity for all, we actually
become happier.
Can you imagine
becoming the richest person in the world and then giving your money away?
That's exactly what Andrew Carnegie did. After retiring in 1901 at the age
of 66 as the world's richest man, Andrew Carnegie wanted to become a
philanthropist, a person who gives money to good causes. He believed in the
"Gospel of Wealth," which meant that wealthy people were morally obligated
to give their money back to others in society. This is what Philanthropic
Entrepreneur is all about: generating so much success in your life
that you share your abundance with others.

"Mind is the creator of
everything. You should therefore guide it to create only good.
If you cling to a certain thought with dynamic will power, it finally
assumes a tangible outward form. When you are able to employ your will
always for constructive purposes, you become the controller of your
destiny."
-Paramahansa
Yogananda, "The Law of Success"
"Dwell not on the past. Use it to illustrate a
point, then leave it behind. Nothing really matters except what you do now
in this instant of time. From this moment onwards you can be an entirely
different person, filled with love and understanding, ready with an
outstretched hand, uplifted and positive in every thought and deed."
- Eileen Caddy
"The biggest mistake people make in life is
not making a living at doing what they most enjoy."
- Malcolm S.
Forbes (1919-1990)
"Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and
enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass!"
- Paul J. Meyer
"Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody is watching."
- Mark Twain
"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
- Napoleon Hill
"We lift ourselves by our thought. If you want to enlarge your life, you
must first enlarge your thought of it and of yourself. Hold the ideal of
yourself as you long to be, always everywhere."
